Hello!  My name is Adelle Harvey and I am from Ocean Springs, MS. I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, and an emphasis in Graphic Design from the University of Mississippi. I very recently opened a studio/gallery in Ocean Springs, MS.  I have a passion for all things creative, and am excited to begin sharing my work. I am a storyteller. My art is a physical representation of a moment in my life. Whether it be driven by a thought or a feeling, my works are created by the desire to share and expose my visions. Some of my stories are true, some fiction, and some fall in between my dreams and reality. When people view my work I want them to be curious and self reflect on their own lives and moments of a similar impression. I want them to see the story in each color or stoke of a paint brush. 

 

I am a musician. Songwriting is a huge part of my process. I use art and music as way to share my experiences, my friends experiences, and the fictional stories I write in my mind.  This love of creation leads me to use many different mediums such as acrylic paint, chalk/oil pastel, and experiment with many different materials for texture. My art is very process orientated, and the process is chaotic and messy. Each work very spontaneous, just like life itself.
